Host your media for free — then paste the link into the storefront

Every card and gallery slot on your school's public landing page (/s/<alias>) expects a public image or video URL. You don't need a paid account — pick one of the three free options below and follow the steps. Recommended for speed and image quality: Option A — Cloudinary.

Option A — Cloudinary (recommended)

Cloudinary is a global CDN built for images and short videos. The free plan gives you 25 GB of bandwidth and 25 GB of storage per month — far more than any school storefront will ever use. Photos load in under a second worldwide.

1
Create a free Cloudinary account
Open cloudinary.com/users/register_free in a new tab. Enter your full name, your school email (or any email you can read), choose a password, and pick a memorable Cloud name — for example blings-{schoolalias}. Click Create account, then confirm the email Cloudinary sends you.
2
Open your Media Library
After confirming, you land on the Cloudinary Console. In the left sidebar click Media Library (icon looks like a photo). This is where every image you upload will live.
3
Upload a photo
Click the blue Upload button (top-right) → Browse → pick the photo from your computer (or drag-and-drop straight into the page). A progress bar appears and within a few seconds the new photo shows up as a tile in the library.
4
Copy the public URL
Hover over the uploaded image. A toolbar appears at the top-right of the tile — click the chain / link icon (Copy URL). Cloudinary copies a URL that looks like:
https://res.cloudinary.com/blings-myschool/image/upload/v1716808888/hero.jpg
This is your public link. Paste it into the storefront editor (image URL field) and Save. Done.
5
Bulk uploads for galleries
For the gallery section, repeat step 3 with several photos at once (Cloudinary accepts multi-select). After upload, copy each link one by one and paste into the gallery slots — remember each photo needs a ≤120-character caption or Save is blocked.
6
Optional — replace a photo later
Cloudinary lets you re-upload to the same name to update an image without changing its URL. In the Media Library click the photo → Replace → choose the new file. Every storefront card pointing at that URL refreshes automatically.

Tip: paste a freshly-copied URL into your browser's address bar first. If the image opens directly, it's a valid public URL the storefront will accept.

Golden rules — no matter which option you pick
The link MUST be public — anyone clicking it (with no login) must see the file directly.
For images, the URL should end in .jpg, .png, .webp or .gif. Cloudinary does this automatically. Google Drive needs the "direct link" trick shown below.
For videos, use YouTube and paste the watch URL (e.g. youtu.be/XXXX). The storefront embeds it automatically.
Always add a short caption (≤ 120 characters) describing the photo — without a caption the storefront blocks Save (red ring warning).
Never upload private student photos that you do not have written permission to publish.
